Context

An embassy’s economic section can provide orientation and contacts, but it does not replace due diligence or legal advice. The exporter must verify the counterparty, signing authority, payment terms and who will carry responsibility for service and product registration.

What matters

Israel is a relatively small market by population, yet it often demands speed, proof of function and direct communication. A presentation should identify a concrete problem, a pilot scenario and the customer’s decision process. A general claim that a product is innovative is rarely enough.

Practical view

Before travelling, the company should prepare a concise English document, a pricing framework and a list of questions. It must also decide whether it needs a distributor, an integration partner or an end customer. Mixing these roles creates unclear expectations and disputes about commissions.

Takeaway

A useful mission is not measured by the number of business cards collected. Its outcome is a confirmed next step, a responsible person and a deadline. If no one knows which data or documents should follow a meeting, the opportunity is not yet properly qualified.
